Anything painful in our lives can be used to create a positive effect ...

the fears that you nourish, turn them into something else ...

Make them poetry or some great machinery.

Do not turn your back, do not live a lie.

Fight injustice and every kind of violence.

Think positively and do not laugh with stupid jokes ... "

 

The same as Pollyanna in the "game of joy" where she transcended every pain into a positive thought ...

Alice in Wonderland, she achieved great miracles because of her persistence to believe that everything can become a reality…

You might say "All right with all these, but can, for example, an abused child think positively?"

 

Of course it can, it is them who achieve it better than anyone...​

​Being, myself, an abused child, I could find shelter in my imagination ... and ...

when you are trying to activate the imagination in such difficult situations, even being too young ...

when you are trying to find yourself in an intimate warm place of your fantasy realm, every time you are abused, every time you feel so lonely, every time you needed to hold a hand when you were suffering in both physical and psychological levels... then...

… It was needed a huge amount of imagination to make you Feel like someone was holding you,

when you were alone,

 just holding your hand with the other                  

in order to take courage ...

while you were sobbing

silently beneath the covers,

shaking in fear that any noise could cause to be abused more. 

It is then though, when your imagination is perfectly practiced, and becomes stronger ... becoming the most powerful weapon that helps you to overcome every difficulty, without breaking your soul into fragments ...  and in the end…
 

allowing you to discover your own Self...

​​in the most weird,magical,colorful places...

while you are dreaming with your eyes wide open...

 

​​And then, when your imagination

reaches its highest potential,

magical things start happening.

Not only inside you, also in your life ...

where your imagination starts manifesting

even in physical dimension...

 

And then…

Inspiration comes…

 

 

​My inspiration began one night when my soul was in pain … around 1999…

It was then, when the first chapter of the book was written… 

It was a truly magical experience, which even now I cannot

explain how it happened..

 

How is it possible in a just of 6-7 hours to keep up writing 25 pages, while at the same time researching and studying real legends of Elves and Fairies?

 

How was it possible to achieve all that in a such short span of time… it still remains a mystery ... ...It was like time just stopped... literally !!!

 

Thereafter that event, some life adventures followed ... that made me get to England. There, I experienced some difficult years so I hardly had available free time and mood to consider the book ... So the file in which the chapter of the book was written just got lost ...

 

Being disheartened I returned to Chios, where, I found it in the hands of a friend - I had printed it and given it to him few years ago to tell me his opinion –He had kept it alive all those years and even the pages were in incredibly good condition ... It was like ... magic to find it again ... It was like he protected it as if he already knew that this first chapter was like my own child ... So I continued retyping ...

​Then whenever I continued writing, the same "magic" incident with time was occurring ... in just few hours many pages could be written ...

Whoever asked me what would happen later in the book, I did not know what to respond ... so the answer was always the same ...

 

"I do not know ... the heroes just guide me, I just sit and write and its like someone from up there dictates the information... or as if  the book it has been already written somewhere and gradually I discover its existence..." None of these descriptions can truly transmit you what is really going on ...

Perhaps the best description could be the following sentence ...

 

It just unfolds in front of me…

    By  itself…!

 

​A friend of mine once told me,

"Finish your book... You shouldn't leave your hero out there alone in the darkness..."

and she was actually right, because it's like these heroes

 are literally alive, somewhere, in a parallel universe... Who knows, maybe they are...!
